Known as “Modjeskas,” the unique candy is named after a beautiful Polish actress from the 19th century. Crafted in a Kentucky, these modern-day Modjeskas are still made by hand and individually wrapped. As such, theatrical patron and longtime admirer, Anton Busath created the silky caramel biscuits and named them after the beloved actress.
