Ideal for beginners or experienced players alike, the set features re-designed pieces that are sized to represent their relative value, unlike traditional Staunton chess pieces that diminish in height when moving away from the center of the board. (18 lbs.) 6 3/4 H x 21 3/4 W x 21 3/4 D. The extra-large 4 1/4 H pieces are made from a composite material with silver or bronze copperplate finish, while the 18 1/2 square wooden chess board is adorned with a Kasparov signature panel on each player’s side. A built-in storage drawer with foam inserts stores and protects pieces.
